Our practices include Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye Center, Southwestern Eye Center, Retinal Consultants of Arizona, M&M Eye Institute, Abrams Eye Institute, Southwest Eye Institute, Aiello Eye Institute, and Moretsky Cassidy Vision Correction. We are focused on building the nation’s largest and most comprehensive eye care practices and currently operate more than 100 eye care centers in Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas – including 25 ambulatory surgical centers.

At AVP, the Marketing team is responsible for patient acquisition, existing patient reactivation, and maintaining and enhancing the brand of each of our highly-respected practices. We work to make sure that becoming a patient at any of our practices is seamless and easy - from the first time a patient interacts with our brands, to the experience we provide on our websites, to the education they receive in our clinics. Because of this approach, the marketing team also focuses on being a valuable partner for our internal departments as we all work collaboratively to provide the best patient-experience possible.

Marketing Coordinator

American Vision Partners – Tempe (Hybrid-Remote)


Essential Functions:

·         Plan and execute social media strategy, aligned with our marketing and content calendars, to support core business KPIs, drive awareness, education, traffic, and conversions

·         Manage and create content for all of AVP’s practices and social channels including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and TikTok

·         Maintain reputation management goals by responding publicly to reviews on multiple platforms and communicating needs with internal departments

·         Assist Marketing Department during photo and video shoots

·         Write and proof press releases, articles and website content as needed

·         Update and maintain accurate information on various WordPress websites

·         Collaborate with the Marketing Department and outside vendors on campaigns for all brands

·         Work with our designers on creating and approving ads for publication and paid campaigns

·         Help maintain and optimize organization of files, assets and resources for the Marketing department, vendors and internal stakeholders

·         Assist internal departments with small projects and design requests

Required Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, or a Related Field

·         Minimum 2 years (including internship) experience in Marketing or Related Field

·         Familiarity with all social media platforms and best practices

·         Ability to work well within a team and individually

·         High accuracy and attention to detail

·         Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Drive

·         Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

·         Willingness and desire to learn on the job

Additional Qualifications Appreciated:

·         Design experience and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite

·         Photography and Videography experience
