Help Desk Support Specialist - Phoenix 

As a Help Desk Support Specialist, you'll be a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, and information systems. The ideal candidate will understand business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and will recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Responds to help desk e-mails and calls and resolves issues in a polite and timely manner
  • Maintains licensing, hardware, inventory returns and repairs
  • Installs new hardware as needed
  • Assists in solving issues related to the network, including the e-mail system
  • Ensures backups run and tapes are changed
  • Maintains all Eyemaginations/Luma smart screens/PC's
  • Assists in moves, adds, and changes to the phone system as well as voice mail system
  • Troubleshoots phone system and facilitates repairs as needed
  • Assists and manages special projects outside of the normal scope of networking

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Technical school beyond high school/A+ Cert desired
  • PC and PC hardware, networking and telephony tools, PC repair tools
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems, office programs, Citrix administration, computer networking and terminal services
  • Ability to define a problem and provide a solution to the defined problem with minimal supervision
  • Detail oriented, reliable and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work as a team member
